Flying kites of any type is a fun activity if you observe some common sense about how and when you fly.
Think of others!
Fly your kite in an open space of at least 100 meters by 100 meters keep well away from:
- 1. Power lines
- 2. People
- 3. Parked cars
- 4. Roads
- 5. Any other hazard that is obvious when you set up
- 6. At least 5 kilometers away from airfields.
Do not fly if there is any risk of thunderstorms or lighting.
Know the Wind conditions that you and your kite can handle.
Do not use wire or fishing line as flying line.
